It everywhere!! Every store you go to…every shopping site you visit! Don’t get me wrong.. I love the trend but the overdose is overwhelming!! Which is why, I’m lusting after L.A.M.B’s SS11 collection. It has such a resort feel that you can almost feel a cool breeze when looking at the clothes.
With a play on color, print and pattern.. the collection is fun, sexy and unpredictable. The subtle mixing of prints is ingenious. The subtlety carries on to the use of the predominant shade, ink blue... if you don't look hard enough, you might almost miss it's presence in all most all of the outfits. The shade is used in stark contrast with a gamut of eye-popping shades of orange and in a cooler collaboration with whites. Some of the dresses have such unusual draping that it almost seems like an art form.
For those of you who don’t know this… L.A.M.B. is singer Gwen Stefani’s line and hence stays close to the designer’s style aesthetics.... coz Gwen Stefani sure knows how to rock her style!
