Olivia Palermo for Tibi
When all the world is abuzz about street-style and The Sartorialist is something akin to the holy grail....it wasn't going to be long before fashion magazines and fashion houses started capturing the essence of street style rather than fashon-editor styled photo shoots...
What better way to shoot a campaign than to bring in a fashionable socialite, who has that sense of street-style and has been featured on many street-style websites, ask her to pick the clothes and style it herself. That's what Tibi's Spring 11 web campaign featuring Olivia Palermo is all about. The shoot itself is inspired by street-style, fashion bloggers and The Sartorialist.
Set against faux-street backdrops representing NYC, London, Paris and Milan, Ms. Palermo was given free reign to choose pieces from Tibi's Spring collection. Pieces that she would liked to be photographed in during the fashion weeks in the fashionable cities. The fun part is, she got to style them herself, which she did with her signature accessories.
The not so fun part is that she wore most of the outfits as they were on the Tibi site...not much mix and match.
